Terms
Terms of service.
Last updated · 2026-06-02
These terms govern your use of Luffy, the Slack app that helps teams request and receive AI-assisted work from Slack.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Luffy, operated by Zonko Labs Private Limited (“Zonko Labs”, “we”, or “us”). By installing Luffy in Slack, creating an account, joining a workspace, invoking Luffy, connecting a tool, or otherwise using Luffy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Luffy.
What Luffy does
Luffy is an AI coworker for Slack. Users can mention Luffy, direct message it, use supported Slack commands, or interact with supported Slack app-agent surfaces to request summaries, drafts, reports, artifacts, follow-ups, and workspace-approved actions. Luffy's backing authorization layer stores workspace settings, connected-tool grants, requester-bound credentials, and audit metadata.
Accounts and workspace authority
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Luffy.
- You must have authority from your organization to install Luffy, connect tools, or grant Luffy access to workspace data.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate account and workspace information and keep it current.
- You may not use Luffy if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
Slack and connected tools
Luffy works inside Slack and may use other tools only when those tools have been connected and authorized for your workspace. When you connect Slack or another service:
- You authorize Luffy to access that service within the permissions shown during setup and the grants configured for your workspace.
- Your use of that service remains governed by that service’s own terms.
- You can revoke access through Luffy, through the connected service, or by uninstalling the Slack app where applicable.
- Luffy is not responsible for third-party outages, API changes, rate limits, permission changes, or data quality problems outside our control.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Luffy to:
- Violate any law, regulation, contract, or third-party right.
- Access another person’s Slack workspace, account, credentials, messages, files, or connected-service data without authorization.
- Send spam, phishing content, malware, abusive messages, or unwanted outreach.
- Bypass Slack admin controls, Slack product limits, connected-service permissions, or workplace data policies.
- Use Slack data for advertising, surveillance, user profiling unrelated to Luffy’s function, or LLM training.
- Request high-risk or destructive actions without the authority and review required by your organization.
- Probe, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Luffy, Slack, or connected services beyond normal product use.
Your content and Slack data
- Ownership. You retain ownership of content you submit to Luffy and data in your Slack workspace or connected tools.
- Limited license. You grant Luffy a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, transmit, and store content only as needed to provide Luffy, run authorized requests, secure the service, and maintain auditability.
- Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how Luffy collects, uses, shares, and retains Slack and connected-service data.
AI output
Luffy uses AI models and runtime systems. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, outdated, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, especially for important, legal, financial, employment, security, medical, or customer-facing decisions.
Luffy does not provide legal, medical, financial, security, or other professional advice.
Fees and availability
Some Luffy features may be free, usage-based, trial-based, or paid. Any pricing, usage limits, renewal terms, and cancellation terms will be shown at purchase or in the applicable order form. Luffy may change, suspend, or discontinue features where needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, or product maintenance.
Suspension and termination
- You may stop using Luffy, revoke connected tools, or uninstall the Slack app at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or abuse risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law.
- After termination, data deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable workspace agreement.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Luffy is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Zonko Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of Luffy. Zonko Labs’ total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid for Luffy during the 12 months before the claim arose.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zonko Labs Private Limited and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of Luffy, your violation of these Terms, your content, or your use of Slack or connected third-party services.
Governing law and disputes
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Zonko Labs Private Limited, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a formal claim, both sides agree to try to resolve disputes informally by emailing support@zonko.ai.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice where required. Continued use of Luffy after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
